DAY 1

Morning/Afternoon

– Arrive in Lima, where a private Metropolitan Touring representative will greet you at the airport and transfer you to AC Hotel by Marriott Lima Miraflores.

– After checking in, spend the remainder of the day settling into Peru's vibrant capital. Take a leisurely stroll along the Malecón, where dramatic cliffs overlook the Pacific Ocean, browse the boutiques and restaurants at Larcomar, or visit nearby Kennedy Park to experience the lively atmosphere of Miraflores.

Evening

– Enjoy dinner at your leisure, sampling Peru's internationally acclaimed cuisine at one of Miraflores' renowned restaurants before returning to your hotel.

DAY 2

Morning

– Following breakfast, embark on a privately guided tour of Lima, known as the "City of Kings." 

– Discover the city's beautifully preserved Historic Centre, strolling through elegant plazas lined with colonial architecture and ornate wooden balconies. Visit Plaza Mayor, admire the Government Palace and Lima Cathedral, and explore the remarkable San Francisco Monastery, famous for its striking Baroque architecture and historic underground catacombs.   

– Continue through the sophisticated districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, enjoying a peaceful walk beneath the centuries-old olive trees of El Olivar Park before taking in sweeping views of the Pacific coastline.

Evening

DAY 4

Morning

– Rise early for a shared boat excursion to the remarkable Ballestas Islands, a protected marine sanctuary often called the "Poor Man's Galápagos." 

– Cruise past the mysterious Candelabra geoglyph etched into the desert hillside before encountering thriving colonies of sea lions, Humboldt penguins, Peruvian pelicans, cormorants, and a variety of other marine birds in their natural habitat.

– Following the excursion, depart Paracas by private transfer and journey back to Lima, or continue on to your next destination.
