Giovanni and Adele Naldi Lead the Contemporary and Sustainable Evolution of the Roberto Naldi Collection

A new season of investment is driving the Roberto Naldi Collection into its next chapter. This generational transition intertwines Roberto Naldi’s legacy of success with an evolution that reinterprets the defining standards of luxury hospitality through a contemporary lens. Siblings Giovanni and Adele Naldi have taken the helm of the Collection, charting a new direction that balances the family’s heritage with a modern vision of hospitality. The five hotels, long distinguished by their panoramic settings, architectural individuality, and refined Mediterranean culinary offering, continue their journey with their customary elegance and an even more contemporary approach to hospitality.
The new organisational structure sees Giovanni and Adele Naldi at the head of the hotel group founded by their father Roberto, comprising the Hotel Splendide Royal in Lugano, Rome and Paris, together with the Parco dei Principi Grand Hotel & SPA and Mancino 12, both in Rome. Under the impetus of the new generation, the Collection is living through a season of renewal, set in motion in recent years through a multi-faceted restyling programme. In Rome, the Parco dei Principi is becoming a landmark of wellness-led hospitality; the Splendide Roma is refreshing its culinary concept to create memorable dining experiences; in Lugano, the Splendide is reimagining its spaces around sustainability and comfort for an international audience; while Paris keeps its exclusive and discreet soul entirely intact.
With this new structure, Giovanni and Adele Naldi reaffirm the excellence of the Roberto Naldi Collection, guiding it toward a future where bespoke hospitality, contemporary design, and environmental responsibility coexist in perfect harmony.

Sustainability and Emotion
“Experiencing our hotels every day allows me to see that true luxury today is emotion,” says Adele Naldi.
“The room restyling programme, which in recent years has extended across all our properties and is still ongoing in Lugano and Rome, is guided by precisely this belief: to honour the historic soul of each place, while offering a welcome that speaks the language of modernity and holistic well-being.” The future of the Collection is guided by a genuine commitment to sustainable tourism, one that began in 2015 with a substantial Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. The Hotel Splendide Royal Lugano, already the holder of the prestigious Green Globe certification, serves as a driving force for the entire Group, setting the ecological standards that will be extended to all properties. “Our vision goes beyond aesthetics — it embraces ethics,” declares Giovanni Naldi. “We want our hotels to become symbols of a more conscious approach to hospitality, proving that true luxury can and must be sustainable.”

Urban Resorts with Well-being at Their Heart
At Parco dei Principi Grand Hotel & SPA in Rome, significant modernisation works are drawing to a close: the Suite offering will expand, with spaces designed to be even more comfortable, inviting, and centered on uncompromising comfort. Well-being is also central to a contemporary approach to sustainability. “Inspired by this very theme, in recent years we have focused on giving guests the opportunity to enjoy a stay that is as comfortable as it is health-conscious,” say Giovanni and Adele Naldi. “Within Parco dei Principi, a second indoor pickleball court has recently opened which, together with the 21,000+ square feet of the Prince Spa, is a true oasis for anyone seeking relaxation and well-being, even during a business stay.” At the Splendide Roma, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, the Fitness Suite is one expression of this new direction within the Collection — one devoted to an ever more health-centred approach to travel, with a private in-room gym for guests who wish to maintain their fitness routine without compromise. An intimate Spa with a fitness area completes the offering. At the Splendide Lugano, it is the Splendide Lifestyle Spa that serves as the property’s corner of holistic well-being.

The Taste of History
The investment programme at the Splendide Royal Roma has recently been completed. To further enrich its culinary offering, the celebrated and storied Ristorante Mirabelle, overlooking the city and long a favourite among Romans and visitors alike, has been complemented by Adèle Mixology. On the eighth floor, in a panoramic and exclusive position, the Splendide’s lounge bar pays homage to a family name that has passed from generation to generation. In Lugano, the jewel of the culinary offering is Ristorante I Due Sud, where Chef Marco Veneruso’s cuisine draws inspiration from southern Switzerland and southern Italy, earning a Michelin star and recognition across the most prestigious guides. In 2026, the Splendide Royal Paris celebrated its first decade. Yet despite its relative youth, it is rooted in a remarkable history — a grand period building once belonging to Pierre Cardin, where creativity and elegance are still very much alive today. In recent years, its Ristorante Tosca has earned its place among the most celebrated Parisian destinations for Italian cuisine, with a dedication to gastronomy that runs through every restaurant in the Collection.
