Between the re-styling of the hotel's original villa, the brand new 'Sasso' wing with its 18 elegant suites, the beautiful new lounge and bar, the new layout of the gourmet restaurant 'La Magnolia' and the new underground parking garage, this season has seen a whole new level of Italian glamour from the iconic Hotel Byron on the shores of Forte dei Marmi.
New Suites at the Sasso Wing
Offering an intimate charm and contemporary design, the new Sasso Wing features 18 additional suites, including the particularly special Sasso Penthouse. These fresh, light-filled suites are the perfect combination of style and comfort, with a sophisticated yet cozy interior design. From the drapes to the lampshades, the artwork to the wallpaper, and even the luxurious marble found in the bathrooms, each detail of these chic new suites was meticulously chosen.
La Magnolia's New Look
Those looking to enjoy a true gourmet experience surrounded by beautiful, Italian-designed interiors will appreciate Hotel Byron's newly renovated La Magnolia restaurant, now featuring a chef’s table that overlooks the restaurant’s lively kitchen.

Becoming a hotelier meant going back to his childhood roots for this passionate Italian. Staying true to his family heritage on the Tyrrhenian coast, Salvatore Madonna defines luxury as living authentic local experiences – which is just what his elegant Tuscan seaside hotels, Hotel Byron in Forte dei Marmi and Hotel Plaza e de Russie in Viareggio, deliver in spades.
Salvatore compares running his family business to a relationship – like all doting partners, he takes great pride in his hotels and goes to great lengths to ensure they shine – from personally selecting the wine for their restaurants, to handpicking the art that adorns their walls. There's much symmetry between Salvatore and his beloved Hotel Byron and Plaza e de Russie, found in their shared personal charm, their enamored relationship with Italy, and their appreciation of the arts.

Italy’s equivalent to the Hamptons, in Forte dei Marmi you’ll find fashionable Italians taking in the fresh ocean air while making their rounds at hip beach clubs, local cafés, designer shops and award-winning restaurants.
